View warranty terms and conditionsThe Ricoh GV-1 Viewfinder is an external optical viewfinder specifically designed for the Ricoh GR Digital series, though it can also be used with other compact cameras that feature a hot shoe. This accessory allows for precise framing without relying on the LCD screen, offering a classic solution for street or travel photography that avoids vignetting caused by the camera's own lens barrel.

Key Features
- External optical viewfinder with a 21mm frame (35mm equivalent) for approximate framing.
- Attaches to the camera's hot shoe, compatible with the accessory mount of Ricoh GR Digital cameras.
- Metal construction and multi-coated optics for clear and durable viewing.
- Includes two framing frames (one for 21mm and another for 28mm, depending on the version) switchable via a side lever.
- Compact and lightweight design, ideal for not adding bulk to your setup.
Ideal for
Street photographers or travelers seeking a more natural and discreet framing experience, especially with compact cameras from the Ricoh GR series. It is also useful for those who prefer to avoid using the LCD screen in bright conditions or to save battery life.
Condition
Second-hand product inspected by Camera Market. Includes a standard 6-month warranty and 24-48 hour shipping from Barcelona.
What condition is the camera in?
Every camera that leaves Camera Market goes through a 28-point inspection protocol: shutter condition, autofocus accuracy, sensor integrity, seal tightness, electronic viewfinder calibration, original battery health, and eight further tests on connectivity and firmware.
The specific cosmetic condition (marks, scratches, signs of use) is documented in the actual photographs and in the technical table on the product page. We do not use catalogue images.
What is included in the purchase?
You receive the Ricoh GV-1 Viewfinder body with its original NP-FZ100 battery, BC-QZ1 charger, RICOH shoulder strap, original box and printed manual. The 28-point inspection and the 6-month warranty are included in the price.
SD card not included. If you need additional accessories, browse our accessory selection.
What warranty does it have?
All cameras include 6 months of free warranty covering functional defects and technical failures.
You can extend the coverage from the warranty section on this same page:
- 12 months for €21,00 · single payment
- 24 months for €35,40 · single payment · recommended
We also offer 14-day returns with no questions asked. If you are not satisfied, full refund.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping to the EU in 4–5 business days with tracking number. For mainland Spain, express 24–48 h option available at checkout.
Technical packaging with custom-cut foam and tamper-evident seals. Transit insurance included.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, without reservation. It has full automatic modes and eye-detection autofocus that works practically by itself, so you can start taking professional photos from day one.
When you grow, the manual controls and customisation curve are exactly what you would expect from a professional body. It is a camera you can learn with for years.
Why buy refurbished?
For three honest reasons: price (between 20 and 40% below new on high-end models), sustainability (keeping a body in circulation avoids manufacturing a new one and all its waste), and transparency: every unit has its own serial number, visible shutter count and inspection date.
Market depreciation does not affect optical or electronic performance. A Ricoh GV-1 Viewfinder with 12,000 shots takes exactly the same photos as one with 0.
